Today we drove to the outskirts of London to the London Irish Rugby ground to watch Son and Grandson perform at the Mini Rugby Tournament. Son is a referee and also the Head Coach of Blackheath Under 9's team with our grandson being one of the playing members. The spectators look suitably impressed?

Here is the coach imparting his words of wisdom - I hope the scrum-capped one is listening!

And not a silver blanket or rhino costume in sight . Or was that the Marathon ?
Your London day out looks a lot more convivial .
A long way to go for a game of rugby!
Nuts in May
So... what was the score? who won?
Oh yes - I forgot the results. Well, our team, Blackheath, came fourth within a group of eleven teams. A good day was had by all and the tournament was very well run with a wide range of ages competing and we reckon there must have been over 1,000 children.
Beautiful children :)
