Shooting Sunsets

This is my first shot of a sunset for the season. The sun is now setting over the field behind our house. At the moment there are no cattle in the fields so I do not have to dodge the pancakes!

Quite A Coincidence, Don't You Think?

The lovely sunsets are back in view from our garden. The above photo was taken a couple of days ago, whereas the one below was taken last year. I think the shapes and colours are rather similar. Both look like pink fish.

The Night Sky Theatre

There is no better place than the view from our back garden - especially a good sunset like last night. It was so beautiful.


I grabbed the camera and took up a good position in the field - avoiding all cowpats. I think I took over 40 shots. These two photos have been quickly uploaded. I shall look forward, after my morning swim, to viewing the rest and weeding out the not so good ones.

Good Views

As we have an open aspect we get wonderful skyscapes. The sunsets are very pretty at times - this sunset was photographed from our bedroom window.
