Today I had to have a tooth out - I have never had the experience before but nevertheless all went well and I returned home to Husband. After about an hour I remarked to Husband that there was still a lot of blood swishing around. Husband is very experienced with tooth extractions and told me "not to fuss" and off he went for a walk. I decided that all was not well and after a phone call I was summoned back to the dentist and there I received two more injections and five stitches - arghhhhh - I am now really hurting and refusing to eat anything which will not do me any harm at all!!

You have my sympathy! I had my trip to the dentist a couple of weeks ago but, fortunately, only needed a filling, although it did require two hefty injections!
I have worked in the dental field for more than 20 years and will just tell you to take it easy, and make sure YOU get to pick what you get to watch on TV and demand lots of TLC--You deserve it!! Feel better!! Hope the tooth fairy remembers to come too!! :-)
It's lucky that you "fussed ", it saved a lot more hassle in the end .
I think you now have the moral high ground .... revel in it !! And I hope you feel better soon . Some soup might just do the trick ?
Poor you. I hate dental treatment.
I really hope it heals very quickly & that you can eat what you want with no further problems.

Am feeling better this morning. Thanks all for your comments.
I really dislike going to the dentist for anything. Glad you are feeling better now Lindsay but I should take it very easy over the weekend!
I'm terrified of the dentist!! I finally went (after about 15 years) last week and all I need is my one filling replaced...I don't think I have ever been so relieved in my life!!
Hope you got lots of TLC
