Courageous Clematis

Three years ago we planted a small single stranded clematis either side of our front gate - this is the result!

Your garden and clematis look absolutely stunning. My own clematis is doing better than I'd expected despite the awfully cold winter we had here but is not quite ready to flower yet.

It looks like a rampant Montana to me - I love them. I have one growing over from next door - I just hope they don't decide to cut it back!lol

How lovely! I used to have Clematis Montana in my garden south. My present garden is far too exposed for it. A lovely display for you! And I love the colour of stone on your house.

Amazing.....you should see my piddley sprig that try's so hard to grow and gets about three blooms a year........it's about six or seven years old too.
