Cupboard Love

Is there anything in our kitchen cupboard you fancy? Husband's favourite is Mrs Ball's Chutney, Waitrose sell it. He discovered this delicious peach chutney many many years ago when living in South Africa where he was working on his first job - packing televisions. My favourite is Red Currant jelly - we will eat this with almost anything! Jamie will be relieved that we will be keeping a large stock of this during his stay with us - I think on his blog he is bemoaning the fact that Chivers Red Currant Jelly is not appreciated by the majority of Australians!

Whay a neat and tidy cupboard. Those Yorkshire tea bags look good.

Well I see you have Yorkshire Tea. That is very popular in the little British shop I work in. And it is a lovely tidy cupboard. Makes me want to go do something with mine :) I have company coming this weekend, think I had better put it on my list for today's things to do. Enjoying your blog very much.

Husband has just snooped on my blog and remarked that it is actually him who keeps the cupboard tidy - what cheek!

Hi Lindsay - have had a good nose through your cupboard! I'll pass on the tea thanks (don't like it) and the decaf (drink too much of the other stuff and although I think I spotted some Carte Noir, I'll plump for the ketchup or custard - ta very much.

Love your blogs by the way. Had a nose at Jamie's page too as you mentioned Australia.

Bye for now.

Yorkshire tea... gimme Yorkshire Tea. I have it specially flown out to France by my Mum. I can buy it here but it's very expensive. VLiF

It's not that the Aussies don't appreciate it, it's because our local supermarket told us that Mr Chivers was no longer exporting to Oz! Anyway, I can't see any of said jars in your cupboard - is that the extent of your victuals? I'll have to get poor Matron to send Red Cross parcels in November, I fear!

obviously your husband matured a little somewhere along the line. I don't think Husband would ever be able to eat Mrs Ball's chutney with out laughing. I still have to distract him from the 'farmer's own seed' sign down the road. MH
