I hope these are shrivelling up now that at last we have some sun!

SJA - Husband found it under a tree whilst walking Rescue Dog. I drove to the site later and clambered over stone wall into field with camera.

Fungus in August?? Well, hey, what do months and seasons mean any more in the UK? August may as well be October. Just don't eat it...!!

we have had much discussion about mushroom picking, noticing fairy circles splayed in half arcs around village gardens. How do you know which ones you can eat and which ones you can't?
