A Very Kind Gesture

I have been stomping round the local 9 hole golf course with Husband and his friends on my crutches several times a week now that the weather is kinder. Wonky Knees are feeling a lot stronger from all the exercise. The owner of the golf course has noticed me tagging along and was curious - he has very kindly said I may walk around the golf course whenever I wish (without golfers). I think I had better wear a helmet?

You could always use one crutch as a cricket bat if a ball comes your way.
Seriously, isn't it good when people make kind gestures out of the blue.

Gosh, you don't want a wonkey head to go with your knees! Nice of him though.

Please inform your husband that he is in very great and urgent need of a golf lesson - his swing can only be described as appalling! Why don't you have a lesson? That'll get a competitive spirit going between you!

Jamie - I seem to remember during your visit to us last November a certain someone aged 72 walloped you around the golf course? As for me needed a lesson - I have tried out a few tentative hits and in true BigSis style sent the ball flying straight down the course. Do not want to upstage Husband!!!
