Calm Before The Storm

Yesterday I managed to walk around the field behind our house - good for taking photos. Today however we have such a heavy blanket of snow that the landscape seems to be blotted out. I would simply love to reach an alternative area to photograph but transport by crutches restricts me. Very few villagers ventured out by car. We received a cheery call from the neighbours and we joined forces and pooled our resources for lunch - we hastily baked an apple crumble!

Just the weather where you are for apple crumble and other comfy baked puddings.

I'm in snuggly clothes for my Summer Night of less than 10C.

Dear Lindsay - 'tis Global Warming, just not where each of us is!
