I am a keen weather watcher and today has been a "freezing day". The highest temperature was minus 1.5C. I have been able to walk over the fields but not on the roads or pavements due to slippery conditions - I think we may get more snow overnight.

My car was still frozen at two o'clock this afternoon. It's very brrrr indeed.
Although the main road and shops are very close, I cannot get there as the pavements are like an ice rink.
