Husband and I have slouched around these last couple of days due to the cold damp weather. Looks like hard frosts are returning tonight. Husband kindly drove me to my physio appointment. We had to tackle Dursley Hill in the whirling snow and I was too chicken to go by myself but equally determined to get some treatment for my "swimmers arm". Diagnosis - rigid spine due to hunched walking with crutches. I have now been issued with back stretching exercises which includes bending over the kitchen table with Husband pushing on spine to increase flexibility - the mind boggles!!!

I hope that the table exercise does the trick. And a Happy New Year!
And people ask what we find to do in the country!
What a gorgeous picture Lindsay. Happy New Year to you and the hubby and all the very best in 2010!
Gosh! A power cut on Christmas day...hope it worked out OK. We have my husband's father staying with us (who's in his late 80's) and the heating is on full blast.
Hope your swimmer's injury is resolved too. Happy New Year to you and yours, Lindsay!
that is a stunning photo Lindsay.
Happy New Year to you all..

Sounds simple and easy to do , so if it works it would be marvellous . And it could open new horizons ......
What more is to be said than Happy New Year to you Lindsay! A x
I love the photo too - a real wintry picture.
Great photo...
I valued your post with more snow outside my window here and having been shut in for (what seems like) weeks. My problem is a four year old multi-broken ankle which has left me with a morbid fear of falling over. Perhaps it's all in the mind.

Hello Lindsay
Happy New Year to you and the husband - I just love it when you post those word pictures like you do lol
Take care
Cathy
That should be 'paint' those word pictures - not post. Yes I know you post them but it the painting that gives me the giggles lol

Beautiful photo! I do hope your home grown physio proves successful - well I am sure it will bring a laugh or too if nothing else! Happy New Year.
Too dreary to walk but beautiful to photograph.
Yes, I can just picture you and Husband; I hope no-one walks past the kitchen window when you're doing it though!
