Virgin Troubles

Hi all - Virgin Broadband is letting me down again. I will be back online when computer nerds, BT or anyone anywhere gets their brain into gear and mends me!

Hubby has just moved us over to Sky, I am waiting for a bomb to drop from same.

Hi all - have been sorted - trouble in village - IT Consultant thinks I am on a "dodgy" rack in the exchange. Perhaps I can move heaven and earth and ask BT to plug me into a different rack.

Granny - you made me laugh - we have Sky and we love it - it is a doddle to use I can assure you. One tip though - if things go wrong and they do (being a computer really) just switch off your TV and the Sky box off at the mains, take out both plugs, wait one minute and then reconnect. Switch on and wait about 2 minutes for the sky system to warm up - all should then be well.

It was worth printing out and handing to Hubby to clip to his instruction book. You never know.
