Duart Castle is perched on a headland on the Isle of Mull - this photo taken from the ferry as we slid past.
The Laird himself, shows visitors around the castle - I basked in the sun whilst Husband clambered around inside.
The views from this castle headland were amazing - the visit was all too short - but time enough for a really nice ice cream "toffee swirl".

wow, I'm envious of the views and the weather!
I just love those photos. very dramatic!
Looks a lovely place, sadly I have never had the opportunity to go to Scotland. Silly I know, as compared with foreign travel it is on my doorstep!
I do love looking at photographs, but it can't compare with a real live visit. And the sun was shining too for you!
Love Granny
We were very lucky with the weather - Scotland has its fair share of rain and wind, but luckily we had neither.
You came to Scotland and didn't come and visit me?!! Harumph! Well OK so you were still several hundred miles away but that's no excuse - you were in SCOTLAND for heaven's sake! LOL!
