Clocking In

The field behind us is full of these dandelions - I expect our lawn will be plagued with them next year when the seeds blow gently on the wind.

I have a new camera and have been trying out the double macro feature - not sure I have quite mastered it yet!

I think these are excellent! When clicked to full size, you can see all the details.
Well done with the new camera... practise makes perfect, and these aren't far off that.

Excellent shots! But now I know who is responsible for all my dandelions that keep springing up!

What camera have you got? I am about to buy one!

Fabulous dandelion clock - I have a similar one which I hope to use as a base for a free machine embroidery picture - well that's the plan but I am still smocking at the moment!! Thanks for taking up my challenge re meme.

Thanks all for kind comments - Husband and I are going to share a Fuji Finepix S1000 - we decided to go for a 12x optical zoom, 10 megapixels. This model is now being discontinued (cheaper) and the model to take its place will be an S1500. We like the idea of being able to take a panorama shot of three pictures. We have not tried it yet but according to the instructions after the first shot has been taken and you move to the second shot, part of the first shot remains in the screen and so on, so you can line the photos up properly. We both have compact cameras that do not have so many features.

Superb pics Lindsay.
I have firmly established myself as the island's premier dandelion farmer. I'm told I need to get a good layer of liquid manure down.
