I am having a boast!

This last week I have been walking on my crutches around the local 9 hole golf course whilst Husband thrashes the golf ball wildly from place to place. I have found the grass very much to my liking - soft and springy - I can walk much further. Out of sight of the club house I stole one of Husband's golf clubs and took a practice swing - no problem to the wonky knees - I gave it a go. The ball flashed straight down the course - a brilliant shot and then another. Husband looked extremely fed up - his shots were spraying all over the place. I have not played golf for over 20 years - but now I know that I can still play and that is a thrill in itself. The local course does not have the use of golf carts so I shall just retire gracefully!

Well done! Shame they don't have golf carts or husband would have some serious competition:-)

Club committee don't know what they're missing - SupaLindsay on SupaTrike. Am sure you could hitch up the bag of clubs - with a couple of wheels attached.

Have seen someone riding a scooter with the golf bag on a little 2 wheeled trailer attaached at an exclusive type links course over here! This lady's scooter was bright shocking pink!

Can you introduce the use of golf carts? Would be fun..... ;)

Golf carts on this particular golf course would just sink into the ground - there is a lot of clay soil with various ponds to help the drainage and lots of little footbridges over ditches etc. A golf cart would be too wide and probably so am I!
