During our normal daily telephone conversation I remarked to my Dad that I had seen a lovely fox slink by in the field behind us twice today already which is unusual. We agreed that the fox must be hungry.
"I know" said Dad, "feed the fox, tame him, bring him inside, then Husband will have to take it for a walk instead of a new dog - that will learn him" !!!!
After the sad demise of Rescue Dog we are without a four-legged friend and I miss having that friendly bundle sitting on my lap. Husband will not give in, so I am stuck!

I am chuckling at your blog - great idea and such a coincidence! We saw a fox strolling down the track across the field yesterday. You seem to have had more snow than us - love your photos.
You have just reminded me to put my darling chickens away! thank you!
What a great idea... tame a fox... go on.. have a go.
Oooh! Not a good idea if it was at all possible!!
Although I am in a city, we have foxes regularly run past us down busy streets. They are known as urban foxes and are reasonably tame.
Enjoyed your blizzard photos. Very good!
Wishing for a dog? So sad :(
I still miss my cats and have not been allowed to have more. Get one, you must.
Good old Dad. Perhaps if you suggest fox training project to Husband he will prefer the idea of another dog.
Son and family have just lost their "rescued" dog, he was 13 years old. They have said they will not get another, time will tell I suppose. A
I hope Husband can be persuaded - in time:-)
Sounds like a very good idea!
love it!
