Hush - there is a thrush! Actually we have two simply lovely thrushes that visit our garden every day. We are really pleased to see them. Our garden used to be a concrete cow yard and it has taken two years for the birds to feel at home here. Sorry the photo is blurred - it was shot through the window.
A smile

How lovely! So satisfying to see birds gradually move in!
Hope he doesn't get snapped up by any cats, as ours have done.
Looks like he's in a hurry!
It's lovely to have birds in the garden, isn't it. It doesn't matter how many times we see the same birds my wife and I are always pointing them out to each other.
You are lucky Lindsay to have thrushes to visit your garden. My daughter also has a beauty that she sees from time to time but we are not so fortunate. A
She's so pretty! I have never been lucky enough to see a thrush in the garden.
Hello Lindsay
So many spots - looks like a juvenile bird with a bad case of acne lol
Actually he's a lovely looking bird - we don't seem to have thrushes in Melbourne, starlings and blackbirds yes, but no thrushes.
Take care
Cathy
Think of the lovely birdsong too.
The Mistle thrush in my sister's garden is beautiful but such a thug!! He won't let any other bird near to the feeder and dive bombs them if they dare to sneak in when they think he isn't looking. I guess it's just survival of the fittest!!!
That's a great photo! They're very lovely birds.
I love lying in bed listening to the birds out side - seeing them's even better!
Beautiful pic, not blured from here! (Sodding pigeons though!!!)
