Who is Quizzing Who?
Another poor showing by our team at our monthly pub quiz - we came 3rd out of seven teams. The last batch of questions required the answer True or False. The Quizmaster got his knickers in a twist and offered us Question 46 instead of 45 and so on and so on. Of course it was only a 50% chance to get it right or wrong - that is our excuse anyway!!

Its funny but somehow I never seem to be able to find the winning table on those nights.

Sounds a bit like the Two Ronnies sketch where they were answering questions in the wrong sequence! Great fun anyway.

at least you had a good time, right? I have to admit that is one thing we do miss about Britian going to the pub.

I love pub quizzes, haven't been to one for ages though.
I hate to admit it but I've never been to a pub quiz - my education is sorely lacking!
Hi Lindsay! I can't believe you're boyfromoz's sister - that makes you doubly famous....Being a complete durr brain at geography I read about you being in Wiltshire and thought 'oh that must be near Warwickshire' (on account of them both begining with W, hopefully you got that). But no, Husband assures me it's quite a way away so I'll just wish you happy visiting and put in a quick word for Warwick castle, a fantastic place to visit. But not maybe if you're all the way down in Wiltshire (it is down isn't it? Oh dear. ) MH
Maybe you should take a leaf out of Jeeves' book and eat fish before you go to the pub quizz.
